I guess I'll use up my final "Best of Show" vote on …Köchel, and Pure Silver Connection room. …theimpressive Kochel horn speakers ($9,995/pair) with 97 dB sensitivity.
The orchestral music demonstrated with this combo was effortless in its dynamic contrasts and full of vivid,lifelike detail and musical nuance. I think I literally sat there for three straight songs with my mouth slightly agape, speechless (now THAT was surprising). The interconnects and speaker cables from Pure Silver Connection were the models PST 8 and R50 single/bi-wire, respectively, which were certainly doing nothing wrong (and likely a lot right) in this astute company.

These cables have EVERYTHING. Layers of depth,
awesome width, pinpoint imaging. They are tonally
perfect, with no colouration. The bottom end is so controlled, clean and effortless its SCARY. The cable is utterly transparent to all corners off the soundstage, and the transients are quick. This cable leaves massed produced stuff for DEAD.
You haven't experienced sonic NIRVANA, until you have
heard this cable. But be warned, if your system has any
deficiencies, this cable will show them up, as it is COMPLETELY revealing.

These interconnects do everything superbly, huge soundstage, deepest bass, great midrange and high’s, incredible image with enormous amount of air around it. Black leather finish with gold plated balanced XLR’S. Words can’t describe this interconnects you got to listen to believe. I have listen to lots of good cables but none can be compared with PSC Custom II it is by far best Pure silver around.

PST 8 - Balanced interconnects featuring solid, silver-plated 6N copper and round conductors. LG reported that they reduced system hum problems and were "highly recommended!"
Speaker cables:
R50 - Features biwiring via silver-plated, solid copper spades with gold plated banana plugs. Optimized speaker response in LG's system. "They're solid silver ribbons, incorporating 'Ciuletto1' ribbon for the highs and R30 ribbon for the lows." Again, "highly recommended!"

Just a few comments about the Custom MK3 aesebu digital interconnect. As you know, I have had the custom MK2 digital interconnect for in excess of 5 years along withmy other equipment which includes a Denon DPS1 transport , a dCS D to D upsampler and DAC. I had felt that the sound reproduction that I was getting was pretty close to as good as it gets, however, substituting the MK2 with the MK3 was a revelation. The increased detail was astonishing, the highs were more airy and extended but less "sharp" and therefore far more natural. the mids were fuller yet more liquid and wonderful and the bass was tighter and had more punch. With this cable being the only change from my previous system, I thought it`s performance was truly remarkable. With further "burning in" these properties continue to blossom.
This is easily the best digital interconnect that I have EVER heard. CONGRATULATIONS

Mark from PSC has asked me if I could say a few words as an unbiased source about the Custom analogue interconnects.
Where do I start......
They have a very liquid smooth, and organic presentation. They offer a dynamic sound, with great bandwidth and no colouration. They image superbly, and are utterly transparent. However, they are very revealing, so if your system has any deficiancies they will show them up, and they do take a while to burn it. They are definitely top quality interconnects. I have yet to hear anything else at any price point that I would consider to better them.

george from canada here. i am thrilled to have another really great reason to contact you other than to absolutely confirm how fabulous your Custom cabling really is and how much i am enjoying such a fine product.
as i mentioned at the time i wasn't sure how to sonically distinguish between an upgrade in tubes, front end, and cabling all done at the same time. well now i know.
because of an interesting turn of events i am now convinced that there is no logical choice i could have made instead of PSC.

I am just listening to the Monolith"s for the second time only. The realism, naturalness and sheer musicality of the system with the monoliths is better than even I thought was possible. This is without "burn in " . The incredible detail accompanied by the natural smoothness of the sound is beyond anything I have heard in any system ANYWHERE , regardless of price. All those "truisms" relating to the sound of Silver cables are totally false. THIS IS IT!!! The sound of no cables, the sound of music.
This is your very best product and dare I say the very best that there will ever be in the vast and varied world of cables.

I just received the cables tonite. Right out of the box they were a big difference compared to oem cables. More than what I would have thought. Unfortunately, this means when I do an upgrade on the AV side I will probably have to call on you again. Thinking about blu-ray and hddvd and the subsequent equipment changes gives me headache!

I have owned these cables for over 7 years and have found them to be extremely transparent and detailed. Uptil I tried the MK3 reference ( significantly more silver and more expensive) I had not heard a cable it's equal. I have single ended triode amplification and use a dCs upsampler/convertor. The other cables that I have tried in my system include Nirvana, NBS , Kimber , XLO and taralabs.

The power cable is terrific. Better contrast ratio, colour balance is more natural, and it is very low noise (grain structure is a lot finer).

As far as the review of the R70’s are concerned: Although I have never been a big “believer” of cables, I still used a top end model of a leading British manufacturer. My components consist of Proac Response 3.8, Levinson 380/432 and Krell SACD player. Although I am very happy with my Proacs, the 3.8 were known to be somewhat “light” on bass. Right out of the box the PSC R70 speaker cables delivered bass from my speakers that I thought was never possible. What impressed me the most was the sheer presence of the music and the reinforcement of detail. It’s almost as though I upgraded my amps to the next model up. What amazed me was that even my mother noticed the improvement! I never thought I would say this about a cable but dollar for dollar this is actually the best value I spent on my system.

Today I've heard a CD of Joe Sample and through the R70 speaker cables sounded like a new song to me, instruments i have not heard before this in this disc that I though i knew by heart 'cause simply i love it!!

Impressive, I have recived the Custom Mark II Bi-wire speaker cables about 2 weeks ago. Every day since I have been burning it in and I can see the sound quality improving, it works especially well with the WHTPR4 Horn Speaker.The sound has gotten more imaging, deeper and tighter bass response. More details include open, warm sounds plus better vocals and transperent response.

Hi Mark. I am more rested now and the cables are still great. The interconnects and power cord both say P.S.C. MK.II. Are these the "LITZ II" on the e-mail you sent?
I must tell you, These blow away the black mamba (which is a very good power cord ). These are really great power cords. Really, the best I've heard. I forgot to mention that I am currently using a 13 year old JVC CD-player as my transport. That said,it is even more amazing, when you think about it, what these cables have done in my system. Let’s talk soon.

Hi Mark, (new Custom series)
First let me tell you that the custom cable that you have made me is the best the market has to offer! Period! Nothing from Nordost, Transparent, MIT, Kimber, Cardas(having used all these) and others in the top league come even close to it. The transparency that it has brought to the system makes you feel as if I have moved a model up (my Duo's feel closer to the Trio's soundstage and voicing).
Tonality is a whole new ball game as the Meitner known for its piano reproduction can now reproduce the imaging between each note and one can even comfortably make out between brands of piano's! The Steinway sounding more feminine to a Bosendorfer sounding highly masculine.
There was never ever such stark openness in my system, that I have yet to hear better else where. i share this with you as I try never to get political with my hi-fi system.
A lot of times people talk about the character and sound of the cable. With custom there is a feeling of no cables, between any of the components as I have now the complete system totally custom connected by you. Even vocal physical (head)shifts from the microphone on the recordings can be detected with ease. I feel that other manufacturers are at least 7-10 years away from a product like this to come to market, being an avid audiophile listener since 1980, I wish I had the opportunity of having your products earlier as I feel there is no going back from using any other manufacturer's products but PSC's.
Mark, you have out done yourself! I have no more words to describe how great an advancement you have made with this line of product in the audio community.

Monolith comments
Awesome PSC! You are the undisputed champion to my ears and in my eyes!
I have not had a chance to call you as I have been busy with work, but as the Monolith cable was new, it needed to settle in. Now it has run in about 70-80 hours and settled. The new burn-in sound has disappeared and the bottom and top end is incredible for extension! I thought I was getting lots of detail with PSC Custom III, but this cable made me feel that there is a step beyond the Custom Series for purity in playback sound. It is hard to fathom that this is possible as the Custom Series are so good in its own way! More than that I would tell anybody that the Monolith is well worth it’s price, as it is better than any component upgrade I have ever had- and you can quote me on that!
